Warmup insights

  • A game-time decision, Bradley Beal (Right Elbow Soreness) was “going to be checked” but has been ruled out. Entering his second season as a Sun, the Missouri native is averaging 19.5 points, 5.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds in the first two games against the Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers.
  • Grayson Allen (Personal Reasons) and Josh Okogie (Right Hamstring Strain) are both inactive. Okogie hasn’t played the first two games of the season. Allen came off the bench in the season opener vs. the Clippers, posting eight points, three assists and a rebound.
  • Devin Booker made multiple 3-pointers from far beyond the arch, getting warmed up, showing off his range before the home opener. Booker is tallying 19.0 points, 5.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game
  • Royce O’Neale swished a half-court shot and the crowd that was in the arena cheered. The former Jazz forward played the most out of anyone on the bench against the Lakers, clinching seven points, four rebounds and four assists on Friday night.
  • With Beal ruled out, Ryan Dunn will be making his first NBA start of his career after being selected with the No. 28 pick in this year’s draft. The forward completed his collegiate career at Virginia Tech.
  • Kyrie Irving, Luka Doncic and Klay Thompson all are putting up shots as they look to spoil the Suns home opener. Dallas are coming off of a 120-109 win over their in-state rival, the San Antonio Spurs.
