Recently, Mat Ishbia reacted to one of our articles that mentioned ESPN had the Suns projected to “take a tumble”, and Ishbia had this to say:
I’m not worried about what the so-called experts think. They had us as a title contender the past two years and were wrong then. We’re focused on making our fans proud by playing great as a team and building a brand of basketball that’s tough and gritty. https://t.co/o9ysQlxW6r

Draymond Green’s response to Suns’ Owner Mat Ishbia:
Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, who has been vocal in the past about situations surrounding the NBA, addressed what Mat Ishbia said with three simple words via threads: “Makes complete sense.” Draymond’s insight spotlights the unpredictability and the business that comes with the NBA.

Mat Ishbia isn’t in the business of chasing outside validation. As questions swirl around the Suns’ title aspirations, the outspoken Suns owner has made it known how he feels. Ishbia’s not defending empty hype, he’s doubling down on a team that is building the right culture. In a Western Conference full of depth and danger, the Suns are betting on chemistry and grit to push them over the hump.

With the failed project of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, the Suns arguably had more firepower than any team in the league. But back-to-back early exits in the playoffs have left fans and analysts questioning whether star power alone is enough. With all of the recent moves that the Suns made, reactions from around the league seem to understand their method.
