Green shot 14-for-20 for 36 points and was the major catalyst of the Suns’ run in the second half. The Warriors and the Western Conference itself haven’t had a full look at the Suns when all three stars are healthy over a long period of time. How Green can adapt into their plans could just give them an advantage like it did the Warriors on Friday night.

Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks struggled to find rhythm, combining for inefficient shooting stretches that, in a typical postseason setting, spell elimination. Instead, the Suns found their answer in Jalen Green, who took over the game’s tempo and scoring burden when it mattered most. His ability to attack in isolation and push transition opportunities created just enough offensive lift to offset Booker and Green’s slow nights.

For Phoenix fans, the takeaway is bigger than one result. The Suns didn’t just win, they proved they can adapt in clutch situations against elite competition. That adaptability becomes critical as they face the defending champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder. Against a deeper, more consistent opponent, Phoenix won’t survive on resilience alone.
