SAN JUAN – Untied States national women’s basketball team remains perfect through three games in the FIBA World Cup qualifying tournament, moving to 3-0 after 93-59 win over Italy. Team USA is led by Phoenix Mercury head coach Nate Tibbetts, who has gotten this squad of All-Stars to come together to dominate.

Clark dicing up Team Italy in Saturday’s win:
The game quickly went to Team USA’s favor with a 21-4 run in the first quarter led by two All-Stars. Copper led her team in scoring with 15 points on six-of-nine from the field. Clark chimed in with her all around game, recording 12 points and five assists to put the game out of reach early against Italy.

Bueckers matched Clark points wised with 12 and continues her stellar World Cup run, scoring 16 points last game vs. Puerto Rico. The trio have lived up to the Team USA standards early on, but two games remain for Tibbett’s squad in these World Cup qualifiers.
Less than 24 hours later, Copper and Clark will be back on the floor to face off against New Zealand in the penultimate game, before facing a talented Spain squad on Tuesday.
