The menu was introduced in late 2024 and continued throughout the Phoenix Mercury’s season last year. Ishbia’s goal has been to reshape the fan experience in Phoenix, now adding tacos and ice cream sandwiches to a menu that already includes hot dogs, chips, popcorn, fountain soda and bottled water for just $2 each.
The initiative has made the Suns’ offerings among the most affordable concession options in the NBA.

“We will always do right by our fans here in Phoenix and invest in making this the best organization in basketball, on and off the court!” Ishbia writes in a post on X.
A hallmark of Ishbia’s leadership since arriving in the desert in 2023 has been his willingness to make games more affordable for the average fan, reversing the trend of rising prices at sporting events. While the $2 menu could be viewed as an economic gamble, it provides more accessible and diverse options — a fan-first approach Ishbia has made a priority.

As one of the first programs of its kind, expanding the menu continues to push back against steadily increasing prices across professional sports. Whether it’s the NBA, WNBA, MLB or NFL, fans are increasingly looking for ways to enjoy games without breaking the bank.
For Ishbia and the Suns, the value menu serves as a thank you to fans for showing up and supporting the team whenever they can.

The newly added items will debut Sunday when Phoenix hosts the Miami Heat on Jan. 25 at 6 p.m.
