Tyson, a wide receiver who concluded his career with the Sun Devils this season, has been a standout player who has helped the program achieve significant success over the last two years. In 2024, the ASU junior had his breakout season, recording 75 catches for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns while helping the program capture a Big 12 title.
This season was different for Tyson, who missed significant time after sustaining a hamstring injury that sidelined him for much of the latter part of the year.

Despite that, Tyson still managed 61 receptions for 711 yards and eight touchdowns in nine games.
The honor comes as Tyson has declared for the NFL Draft. Many analysts project him as a potential first-round pick, highlighting the value he developed during his time in the Valley.

For ASU fans, seeing a player like Tyson leave is bittersweet after he helped elevate the program. Like other Sun Devil favorites, such as Cam Skattebo, fans in the Valley will no doubt continue to follow him on his professional journey.
As the year closes and Tyson looks toward his future, he has been recognized one final time for his efforts in 2025.
