PFF College analyst Max Chadwick identified ASU as one of three potential landing spots for former Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola, a former five-star recruit whose future is drawing national attention.
Raiola, a sophomore, spent the past two seasons with the Cornhuskers, where he showcased high-end arm talent and above-average accuracy on intermediate throws. He has positioned himself as one of the more intriguing quarterbacks potentially available this offseason.

During the 2025 season, Raiola completed 72.4% of his passes (a Nebraska program record) while throwing for more than 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns. That level of efficiency would address a significant need for Arizona State, which is searching for stability at the quarterback position.
ASU is expected to have an opening with Sam Leavitt also set to enter the transfer portal, ending his tenure in Tempe and leaving a major gap tp fill. The timing makes Raiola a logical target as the Sun Devils look to solidify the position.

Raiola’s upward trajectory as a sophomore, combined with his accuracy and collegiate experience, could be a good fit under head coach Kenny Dillingham, who has earned a reputation for developing and maximizing player potential.
While no decision has been made and the connection remains speculative, Chadwick’s projection highlights both Raiola’s career trajectory and Arizona State as a potential next step.
