GLENDALE – It would be hard to find a glimmer of positives from the Arizona Cardinals offensive line in Sunday’s 27-23 loss to the Green Bay Packers. On 36 drop backs, Green Bay had three sacks, four tackles for loss and five QB hits, solid production from a team. However, those numbers aren’t from the Packers defense, it comes from one man, edge rusher Micah Parsons.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon seemed to trust offensive lineman Jonah Williams to cover Parsons one-on-one and it lead to awful results.

Parsons dagger third sack of the game:
Sunday was Parsons first three-sack game in his career and continues the season-long struggles from the Cardinals offensive line. Week 7 was Arizona’s third game in 2025 allowing 5+ sacks, while recording a season low in yards per carry at 3.4. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett did all he could to evade the pressure all game, rushing six times for 26 yards. The most rushing yards since Week 1 of 2024.

Brissett extended multiple plays with his feet to slide in the pocket and find receivers down field or take off running. Despite his best effort, the offensive line couldn’t do its part, giving up multiple third down sacks that killed drives. Parsons is likely the best pass rusher the league has seen in over a decade, but his performance is just one of the many Arizona has given up to opponents all season and needs to be fix.
