PHOENIX — Phoenix Rising FC took to social media Thursday to show support for Phoenix Mercury forward Satou Sabally’s campaign to make the All-WNBA Team, in a show of cross-league support.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Mercury shared their campaign for why the forward should be considered in the All-WNBA Team discussion — including milestones she achieved throughout the season.

Phoenix Rising reposted the campaign, with a picture of several players posing with Sabally to show support.

The forward joined the Mercury this past offseason in a trade from the Dallas Wings and has emerged as an integral part of the team’s rotation. Sabally herself as part of the team’s Big Three, along with Kahleah Copper and Alyssa Thomas.
Sabally has had another standout season, averaging 16.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

The All-WNBA Team is determined by a panel of media personnel, with fan engagement a key part of raising player visibility. Rising’s gesture helps boost Sabally’s visibility while uniting Arizona teams in cross-league solidarity.
