After being held to three points in the first half, the Sun Devils came back in the second to score 17 unanswered points to take a 20-17 lead against the Bulldogs. In the final seconds of the fourth quarter, MSU was able to bypass ASU’s defense and score the winning touchdown.
The loss was enough to drop Arizona State 14 spots on the list, receiving only 94 votes. While last week’s drop from No. 11 to No. 12 had ASU fans divided, this week’s ranking has most fans agreeing with the drop.
Deserved

Yeah. I think we all kind of expected that after the loss. They can get back in, but they need to play way better.

Well deserved but the season is by no means over either. Need to go roll TX ST and start over. Undefeated from here on out

Unfortunate but expected.
They didn’t play THAT well against NAU…and they lost to a really bad Mississippi State team.

However, other fans aren’t convinced that two games were enough to completely remove ASU from the list.
That’s kind of a lot to drop for 1 loss. Polls really don’t mean much anyway. We’ll get it right next week. It’s a learning experience fir sure.

Kind of excessive to unrank us but idrc it’s mostly expected

Although the season is just beginning, Arizona State’s last two performances highlight the urgency to correct the small mistakes before it’s too late.
