The 28-year-old Suns star signed a two-year, $145 million maximum contract extension with the team that runs from 2029 to 2030, according to Shams Charania from ESPN. The agreement makes it the highest annual extension salary in the history of the league.
“This moment means so much to me and my family,” said Booker in a team announcement. “Ten years ago, my NBA dreams became a reality when I was drafted here and Phoenix is my home. I love this city and am proud of what we have accomplished throughout my decade here.”

The Phoenix Suns selected Booker as the 13th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and he is entering his 11th season with the team. During his time with Phoenix, Booker led the Suns to the NBA Finals in 2021 and is a four-time All-Star.
He has averaged 24.4 points, 5.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds in ten years with the team.
