Dillon Brooks on past altercations:
Phoenix Suns General Manager Brian Gregory playfully was talking with Brooks about his battles on the court. Brooks mentioned he had some scuffles in Brooklyn in his past, and Head Coach Jordan Ott put in his two cents getting a laugh out of Brooks when he said that Brooks has had, “a little scuffle with half of the league.” Brooks with a smile on his face embraced it with the reaction, “Doesn’t matter who you are.” (Credit: Phoenix Suns Twitter/Instagram)

Brooks, one of the notorious players in the league for his hard-nosed demeanor, has been known for being a polarizing figure but also a fierce competitor. His trash-talking brings a different style to his versatile and lockdown defense, and is regarded around the league as one of the top defensive forces. His intensity at times has earned him a reputation, though the respect for his grit and competitive persona from his teammates shines through. As the Phoenix Suns look for a new headstrong mentality, Brooks can help lead that in more ways than one and especially by embracing that role.
