PHOENIX – The 2025 MLB All-Star Game is right around the corner, and the Arizona Diamondbacks are showing support for their star Ketel Marte and his campaign to be the starting National League second baseman.

A group of Diamondbacks were over at Chick-fil-A showing their support for Ketel Marte. Spotted were D-Backs Manager Torey Lovullo, first-baseman Josh Naylor, center-fielder Alek Thomas, shortstop Blaze Alexander, and pitcher Brandon Pfaadt, and outfielder Randal Grichuk.

It was a fresh and fun way to get the word out about Marte’s incredible season and highlight how fan voting plays a major role. Embracing these moments and the valley itself will not only help Marte hopefully get the start in the All-Star Game, but will bring awareness to how important this would be for the Diamondbacks as a whole.

So far in the 2025 season, Marte is hitting a .305 batting average along with 17 home runs and has been one of the biggest bright spots of this Diamondbacks ball club this season. Marte not only deserves the start for the Nationals League, but the league and his peers have taken notice as well.

The starting lineups for the 2025 MLB All-Star game will be named on Wednesday, July 2nd at 4 p.m. PT. D-Backs fans can continue to vote until noon ET on Wednesday to make sure Marte gets his moment in the Midsummer Classic.
