GLENDALE – The Arizona Cardinals are off the heels of a stellar NFL draft, that has scouts and experts excited for the team next season. The franchise drafted seven players and signed six undrafted free agents that will be expected to compete to be a part of the 53-man roster starting at rookie minicamp on May 9th.

Jones and Seikovits’ Cardinals career:

Jones was an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL draft, where he signed with the Miami Dolphins. The former Ohio State Buckeye struggled to maintain a roster spot with the Dolphins and was cut at the end of training camp. Jones remained unsigned, until the Cardinals took a chance, signing him to the practice squad mid-December. His time with the franchise was short lived, as he never appeared in a game for the team.

After playing Austrian football, Seikovits signed with the Cardinals in 2021 as a part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway. The league has an exemption for international players to roster numbers, so Seikovits remained with the team for four years, but only as a member of the practice squad.
