GLENDALE –The Arizona Cardinals are being touted as one of the biggest winners of the 2025 NFL draft. Arizona’s defense-heavy draft saw the franchise select raw, talented defensive players who will be critical for the team next season. General manager Monti Ossenfort spent six of the team’s seven picks on defense, which brought critiques from fans and media outlets about the Cardinals’ offense next season.

The Cardinals signed six undrafted free agents, five of them were on offense, headlined by Wisconsin wide receiver Bryson Green.

Green spent his collegiate career with two programs: Oklahoma State and Wisconsin. In two seasons as a Cowboy, Green recorded 48 catches, 723 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. Then, the Allen, Texas native transferred to Madison to spend his final two collegiate years with the Badgers. At Wisconsin, he recorded 49 catches, 699 receiving yards, and four touchdowns.
The Cardinals needed a wide receiver entering the NFL draft but elected to wait for the undrafted free agent market to address that issue. At 6’2 and 215 pounds, Green is a downfield threat, averaging 14.7 yards per reception in his collegiate career. Green has the size and physicality to thrive in the league but lacks technique and stats, leading to him going undrafted.

Arizona’s wide receiver depth was shallow last season, with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson the only receivers surpassing 500+ yards. Green comes into as situation that is in dire need of size on the outside and could be a surprise for next season for the franchise in the passing game.
