Later in Wednesday night’s matchup, after a Tim Tawa double to center scoring Alek Thomas, Arizona regained the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning. Once again the Rays hit right back as Misner doubled to center scoring Simpson. Corbin Carroll later on hit his second home run of the game, giving Arizona the lead 5-2 in the bottom of the seventh.
