Keeping up the momentum from an incredible series against the Milwaukee Brewers is something the D-Backs will make sure to do against the Marlins. Despite the woes in the last homestand of leaving runners on base and the 17-inning streak without a hit, the Diamondbacks came away wining four out of the six games against the Orioles and Brewers.
The Marlins are coming into tomorrow’s matchup with a record of 8-7, and have exceeded expectations so far. Miami will look to hope to continue to see production out of guys like Kyle Stowers who is hitting a .314 batting average, and Otto Lopez who has has two home runs, three doubles, and seven walks on the season.

Look ahead at pitching matchups:
- Tuesday’s matchup will feature Merrill Kelly vs Connor Gillespie, both right-handed pitchers for the D-Backs and Marlins. Kelly, who has been better as of late after his uncharacteristic start in New York, has given up just two runs in his last 11.1 innings. Gillespie’s last outing, he only lasted four innings while giving up two earned runs.
- Wednesday will see Brandon Pfaadt vs Max Meyer on the mound. Pfaadt was stellar in his last outing against Baltimore as he had six scoreless innings pitched against the Orioles. Meyer has been on fire to begin the season, he he has only given up four runs over 18 innings.
- The final game on Thursday we will see Eduardo Rodriguez vs Edward Cabrera for the Snakes and Marlins. E-Rod will look to get some help, as he has pitched well but hasn’t gotten the results. Cabrera has a 3.18 ERA so far in 2025, as he looks to clean up issues from last season.
