San Antonio is currently undefeated, with 12 goals scored this season thus far. In its last match, San Antonio trailed Lexingtion FC 0-2, only comeback and in 3-2. What will Rising need to do to prepare for tomorrow’s game?
“We have to focus on us,” Rising head coach Pa-Modou Kah told reporters on Wednesday. “We are trying to get ourselves to the place we need to get so we can start getting points.”
For that to happen, Rising will need to depend on creating opportunities, especially the way forwards Rémi Cabral and Ihsan Sacko did against Monterey Bay. An attack-type approach gives the club scoring success, with six players notching in Rising’s seven goals. Kah believes their starters would be starting in any other team in the league with the way they connect.

“Those front six players are very dangerous,” Kah said. “Sacko and Rémi are finding each other very well. We have to continue to put them in those positions.”
Rising looks for its first victory but also to make a great impression around the country. Kah said it means a lot to be on a national stage.
“It’s a great platform for the players to showcase themselves even more, but at the end of the day we want to play on our terms and try to win a football game.”
Rising vs. San Antonio will start at 1 p.m., and fans can watch the match on CBS and Rising Radio on SiriusXM.
