Arizona Rattlers defensive back Davontae Merriweather (8) celebrates his defensive stop against the San Diego Strike Force during the IFL conference championship game at Desert Diamond Arena on Aug. 5, 2024, in Glendale, Ariz.

The Rattlers, who started the season 1-0 after defeating the Tucson Sugar Skulls 28-56 last Sunday, look strong going into tomorrow’s matchup against the Blizzard. This will be the first time since 2021 that both teams face off again, a game in which the Rattlers took 41-34 in June of that year. Out of the seven games the two teams have shared against each other, the Rattlers won them all.

With the Rattlers playing its first road game of the season, it looks to its quarterback, Dalton Sneed, to continue pushing the offense.

The Blizzard, however, won’t go down without a fight. After losing its first game of the season, the Blizzard bounced back in its home opener and defeated the Iowa Barnstormers 52-47 on March 28. The Blizzard hopes to carry that home momentum into tomorrow’s game. With explosive offense from receiver Zane Lewis and a defense led by Andrew Perkins III, the Rattlers need to bring the same energy from its first game to Green Bay.

Fans can catch tomorrow’s game on the IFL Network, with kickoff at 1:05 p.m.
