SCOTTSDALE – Former Arizona Cardinals and Arizona State football legend linebacker Terrell Suggs received his sentencing for a 2024 incident at a Starbucks, where the 42-year-old waved a firearm at another person. Suggs pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon or instrument for a reduced charge, according to the Maricopa County’s website. His plea deal lead him to be sentenced to 18 months of probation.

“I’m just ready to get on with my life,” Suggs said to the judge. “This has been hanging over me for a year. It was a momentary bad decision. Just ready to get on with my life.”

The 18 months of probation can be cut in half if Suggs fulfills the following items: no contact with the victim, 100 hours of community service, completed anger management counseling and no consumption of alcohol. If Suggs would to violate probation, he could face up to two years of prison time according to the judge.
The two-time Super Bowl champion will need permission to leave the state and is forced to give up the weapon used in the incident.
