PHOENIX — Phoenix Suns coach Mike Budenholzer spoke to the media following their thrilling 108-106 win over his former Milwaukee Bucks.
Durant erupted for 38 points, eight rebounds and five assists and has scored 80 points in his last games. The 36-year-old All-Star put this game together the same day he was named Western Conference Player of the Week.
Booker finished with 19 points and 12 assists and hit the go-ahead 20-foot jumper to put Phoenix over the Bucks with 1.7 seconds left.
Phoenix is now 2-0 to start its “juggernaut” stretch where they have matchups against some of the NBA’s best teams. With a Dallas win and a Sacramento loss, they are now 0.5 games behind 9th seed and attain control of the 10th seed and final spot in the West play-in.
