GLENDALE – The Arizona Cardinals enter 2025 with a virtue it hasn’t had in years: hope. The franchise doubled its win total last season at 8-9 after two four-win seasons. During those down years, Arizona went through multiple head coaches and heartbreaking injuries, like superstar quarterback Kyler Murray’s torn ACL. The massive changes within the NFC West leave it wide open. Cardinals have an opportunity to make it to the playoffs for the first time since 2021, and Murray believes that the team doesn’t have expectations for just making the postseason but making it to the big game.

Murray hosted a quarterback camp in South Korea, and when he spoke to KSB World Radio, the Pro Bowl quarterback said that the Cardinals aren’t far from winning the Super Bowl. The 27-year-old said, “Anything’s possible,” when he looks at the roster.

Murray to KSB World Radio:

“I’m looking forward to this next season. I think, as an organization, we’re on the up and up, and I’m looking forward to it,” Murray said. “I’ve only been in the playoffs once. That, in itself, is disappointing to me and frustrating. Got to turn that around. I’m only getting older. But I’m only 27, I’m still young, so we’ve got time and I know we’re headed in the right direction.”

Arizona is coming off a free agency, where it spent massive money on free agents like Josh Sweat and Dalvin Tomlinson to bolster up the defense. The Cardinals’ defense needed a facelift, and the additions made during the offseason will help a roster filled with talent on both sides of the ball. The franchise also has the 16th overall pick and can make a splash to help protect its franchise quarterback Murray or get him a weapon to amplify his production.

Regardless of the pick in next month’s NFL draft, Murray believes Arizona is close to making it to its second-ever Super Bowl with himself at the helm.
