Rossini hopes to make the renovations official in a couple of weeks, as he stated below:

Since its opening in 1974, Desert Financial Arena has never undergone any major renovations, making this announcement long overdue. Fan feedback will drive the multi-year project. Rossini hopes the makeover will enhance game day for football, basketball, and “all of our sports for that matter.”
