It’s officially Spring Training season and the Arizona Diamondbacks are ready to take the field at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. After finishing last season 89-73 and merely missing out on a Wild Card berth, Arizona is “in it to win it” this season and has four players ranked in MLB’s preseason top-100 players ranking.

18. Ketel Marte, 2B
“Marte, after being underrated for several years, is finally establishing himself as one of baseball’s premier second basemen. He finished third in NL MVP voting last year after hitting a career-high 36 home runs with a .932 OPS for Arizona.”

25. Corbin Burnes, SP
“Another Corbin — Burnes — joins Gallen atop the D-backs’ formidable rotation after a season with the Orioles in which he had a 2.92 ERA and finished fifth in AL Cy Young balloting.”

32. Corbin Carroll, RF
“Carroll got off to a rough start in 2024, but the 2023 NL Rookie of the Year finished with 20 homers and an .871 OPS over his final 98 games.”

76. Zac Gallen, SP
“Gallen made 28 starts for Arizona last season, posting a 3.65 ERA a year after finishing third in NL Cy Young voting.”
