Perdomo was signed out of the Dominican Republic at 17 years old in 2016. Once he debuted in the minors, it didn’t take long for him to be called up early in the 2021 season at 21 years old. During his four-year career with the Diamondbacks, Perdomo was named an All-Star in the 2023 season.

The 25-year-old is a defensive specialist and showcased that last year with 10 defensive runs saved. However, Perdomo had the best batting average of his career last year with .274 and has a .344 on-base percentage because of his keen eyes at the plate.
