Riding a three-game losing streak, the Phoenix Suns face a three-game homestand with the possibility of All-Star forward Kevin Durant and red-hot guard Bradley Beal being out due to injury.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Durant, who missed Wednesday’s 140-109 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder with a left ankle sprain, is listed as questionable ahead of their game against the Utah Jazz on Friday.
Beal, who is averaging 21.0 points and 3.5 assists in his last game, is also listed questionable with left toe soreness. The three-time All-Star has been surging lately and has a new sense of security now that the NBA trade deadline has passed and he and the team can put the constant trade discussions behind them.
Suns rookie Ryan Dunn also showed up on the injury report. He is probable with left ankle soreness. Dunn has slowly been falling from the rotation after being a mainstay in the starting lineup for the better part of the season.
Phoenix’s recent acquisition of Cody Martin in the Jusuf Nurkic trade makes Dunn’s position even more competitive.
The Suns (25-25) are back at .500 after losing three of four road games. After taking on the Jazz on Friday, they face two Western Conference juggernauts; the Denver Nuggets on Saturday and Memphis Grizzlies Tuesday.
