PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns and its players have been berated with countless headlines throughout the past month. Media reports of a “toxic” locker room, guard Bradley Beal possibly being shipped off at the deadline, and even a reality that saw Kevin Durant traded back to Golden State or Memphis. During these hectic two weeks, Durant kept quiet through all the noise regarding the Suns’ turbulence and other big moves. However, the 15-time All-Star could not stay silent after seeing this tweet from Kendrick Perkins.

The comment by Perkins left Durant perplexed by the audacity of the ESPN analyst. For reference, Perkins played for the Thunder from 2011-2015, where he averaged 4.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and shot 46.2% from the field during his tenure. It’s easy to say that Durant calling Perkins’ quote the craziest thing he’s seen this week might not be that far off.
