Phoenix Suns rookie wing Ryan Dunn is officially out against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday with a left ankle sprain.

Dunn suffered the injury merely a minute into Phoenix’s 119-109 win over the Washington Wizards on Saturday on a drive to the rim that sent him to the free throw line.

After making one from the charity stripe and playing a few more possessions, Dunn was checked out by Suns sixth-man Bradley Beal just over the 10-minute mark and went straight to the locker room where he was later listed out for the rest of the game.

The Suns had everyone on the active roster healthy for the first time since around the beginning of the season. It lasted two minutes as Dunn will now miss his fifth game of the season.

Dunn leads all NBA rookies this season and ranks 4th among all NBA players with a defended field goal percentage of 40.1% (min. 300 DFGA), the best DFG% by a rookie since Oklahoma City Thunder spark plug Luguentz Dort in 2019-20.
