Durant, 36, has been Phoenix’s most important player this season. Averaging 27.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.3 blocks per game on 51.2/41.1/83.6 shooting-splits in 22 games, the Suns are 1-9 without the 17-year forward.
The Suns sat atop the Western Conference amidst an 8-1 start to the season before losing Durant to a calf injury that would sideline him for seven games and, in turn, change the trajectory of Phoenix’s season.
Phoenix has since been plagued with injuries throughout the roster and gone 7-16 following its conference-best start.
As voting continues leading up to the 74th All-Star game on Feb. 16, fans can continue to vote for Durant and Devin Booker (ranks ninth among West guards with 120 thousand votes) on the NBA App or NBA website every day.
