Taking his time to make one of the most important life decisions ever, Leilehua (Hawaii) High School offensive tackle Manamo’ui Muti will Tempe-bound for the 2025 season as he has committed to ASU to play college football.

Muti also considered Arizona and Oregon before he ended up choosing Arizona State. He also received offers from UCLA, Boise State, BYU, Fresno State, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon State, Portland State, San Jose State, California, UNLV, USC, Washington State, Utah and Washington.
He is the brother of Detroit Lions guard Netane Muti, who was drafted by the Denver Broncos with a sixth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Netane spent almost three seasons with the Broncos (2020-22), then was released in 2022 and signed with the Las Vegas Raiders before heading to the Lions earlier this year. He has played 20 NFL games for the Broncos and two for the Raiders.
247Sports ranks Manamo’ui as a three-star recruit, the No. 4 best high school football player in Hawaii and the No. 49 tackle in the country. Muti is entering his senior year at Leilehua standing at 6-foot-7, 320 pounds.
According to 247Sports national recruiting analyst Cooper Petagna, Muti will help the Sun Devils in having an agile tackle on the offensive line with a strong build and athletic attributes.
“Displays above-average athleticism at the right tackle position, accompanied by promising knee-bending ability and hip flexibility out of his stance,” Petagna said. “Muti shows good body quickness in pass-and-run sets, and while his naturally higher center of gravity can compromise leverage, he’s capable of redirecting and recovering. Muti possesses great size and a solid athletic foundation that includes basketball and rugby. He’s also the younger brother of 2020 NFL Draft sixth-round pick Netane Muti, who now plays for the Lions. Muti owns plenty of long-term potential.”
Muti joins Waipahu High School linebacker Isaiah Iosefa as another Hawaii prospect whose committed to ASU. 247Sports labeled Muti as the fourth-highest Arizona State recruit from the class of 2025, with Centennial (Calif.) High School wide receiver Cory Butler, Orange Lutheran (Calif.) High School tight end AJ Ia and Weiss (Tex.) High School wide receiver Adrian Wilson ranked above him.
