Arizona State’s Cinderella run isn’t over just yet. The Sun Devils won their 5th straight game on Saturday afternoon when they traveled to Tucson and dominated Arizona 49-7 to win the Territorial Cup. The win earns ASU a spot in this year’s Big 12 Championship game in Arlington, where they still await the results of other conference games to find out who they will be playing.

Several Sun Devils continued to have special seasons including state running back Cam Skattebo who finished with 177 yards and 3 touchdowns. Jordyn Tyson had his 3rd straight 100-yard performance, finishing with 143 yards and a touchdown on 8 catches.

It was a historic win for ASU as it secured its first 10-win season since 2014 and will now have a chance at winning its first conference title since 2007 when they were co-champs. ASU hasn’t earned an outright conference championship since 1996.
