The Sun Devils finished its second and final bye week of the season following a 24-14 loss to Cincinnati. Without starting quarterback Sam Leavitt, backup Jeff Sims threw for 155 yards from 12-of-23 passing and rushed 14 times for an additional 53 yards. Cam Skattebo scored two touchdowns and ran for 75 yards from 17 carries.

Last time out, Oklahoma State fell apart in the fourth quarter as the Cowboys lost its fifth game in a row, a 38-28 defeat to Baylor. Alan Bowman was 28-for-42 and passed for 359 yards, one touchdown and an interception. Star running back Ollie Gordon II had 18 carries for 77 yards and two touchdowns.

Important to note that the game-time change has changed from 4:30 p.m. AZT to 12:30 p.m. due to harsh weather conditions.

Prediction (Season Record: 4-3)

Arizona State 31-17 Oklahoma State

ASU is coming off of a bye week after falling to Cincinnati and is looking to respond against an Oklahoma State team that beat the Sun Devils last year, 29-15. Skattebo will look to build off of his two-touchdown game against the Bearcats while Leavitt is back from a rib injury. The weather is about to be rough out in Stillwater and could force both teams to use the run game even more to cope with the conditions. With the Cowboys struggling immensely in defending the run and not having anything go their way in the conference, their losing streak will extend to six straight as Leavitt’s return will help Arizona State clinch bowl eligibility.
