Allen will return after missing the team’s final four preseason games. He had seven points and two rebounds in the only preseason game he played in, a 118-114 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 6. Allen, who led the league in 3-point percentage in his first year with Phoenix last season, will play a new role of sixth man for Phoenix after the team added his former Duke teammate Tyus Jones this offseason to be its starting point guard and take Allen’s spot in the starting lineup.
Lee doesn’t figure to be a part of the rotation unless there are injuries, but does reach a big milestone for himself in returning to full health after missing all of last season with a meniscus injury. He did not play in Phoenix’s final preseason matchup.
Okogie was out for the final two preseason contests, and Budenholzer hasn’t said much about his progress.
For the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard (right knee injury recovery), Mo Bamba (left knee soreness) and P.J. Tucker (not with team) are out.
Tonight’s game tips off at 7 p.m. MST at the brand new Intuit Dome.
