The Arizona Cardinals were looking to build off of a resounding 24-23 win over NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers last week with another victory over the Green Bay Packers but instead, they were blown out 34-13 and lost multiple key players to injuries in the process.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion), defensive lineman Bilal Nichols (stinger) and cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting (neck) were all ruled out by Arizona for the remainder of the game. Linebacker Kyzir White (knee), safety Joey Blount (hamstring) and offensive lineman Evan Brown (ankle) were labeled as questionable to return.
With the Packers crushing the Cardinals already, losing Harrison Jr. was a massive blow for an offense that was already struggling to produce to begin with. Harrison Jr. had two targets but no catches or yardage against Green Bay before being evaluated for a concussion.
Both Murphy-Bunting and White finished with three tackles apiece while Nichols and Blount recorded one each.
From the very beginning, Green Bay was in the driver’s seat with the lead and was up by as much as 24-0. Romeo Doubs scored two touchdowns, and Jordan Love completed 22-of-32 passes for 258 yards and four touchdowns. Arizona gave up three fumbles in the loss.
