Here’s what we’re seeing from Mountain America Stadium before ASU takes on Kansas at 5 p.m. PT.

- ASU running backs DeCarlos Brooks and Raleek Brown, who have been injured recently, are both looking crisp with receptions and bursting with speed quickly. Brown started the season out with a hamstring injury, returned for the Texas State game and didn’t feature for the Texas Tech game.
- Sam Leavitt has some jump with passing to Jordyn Tyson, finding him for several receptions. Leavitt completed 22-of-38 passes for 282 yards.
- Ian Hershey nailing some field goals from long range. Hershey missed a crucial extra point to be down by just seven, forcing ASU to have an eight-point deficit, he was 1-for-1 with a 34-yard field goal.
- Kansas’ fifth-year quarterback Jalon Daniels getting most of the passing reps before the game. Through five games this season, Daniels has thrown eight interceptions and the Jayhawks as a team have blown fourth-quarter leads in all four of their losses.
- Kansas senior wide receiver Lawrence Arnold corraled some fast-twitch receptions. Arnold has 15 receptions for 209 yards and one touchdown after an explosive 2023 where he collected six touchdowns and 44 receptions for 782 yards.
