Arizona Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters today that star tight end Trey McBride has cleared concussion protocol and is good to go for Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers.

McBride, who has 14 catches for 122 yards on the year, missed the Cardinals’ 42-14 Week 4 loss against the Washington Commanders with the injury, which he suffered in Week 3.

Meanwhile, cornerback Garrett Williams, who had an interception in Week 4, is “probably not” going to play with a groin injury, according to Gannon.

Williams has not practiced this week, and neither has kicker Matt Prater with a left knee injury. Gannon said that Prater and defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga (knee) still need further evaluation before determining their statuses for Sunday.

Arizona (1-3) signed former Patriots kicker, Chad Ryland, to its practice squad Wednesday.

The Cardinals and 49ers (2-2) will release their official injury reports with out, questionable and doubtful designations after practice today ahead of their meeting Sunday. See Thursday’s injury report for both teams below.
