On Saturday, despite the Diamondbacks falling to the Dodgers, Chase Field announced its second-largest crowd in history, with 50,041 fans in attendance. This impressive turnout followed Friday’s series opener, which saw over 46,000 fans pack the ballpark. Together, these games marked the largest two-day attendance span for the Diamondbacks this season, surpassing even the excitement of Opening Weekend. For comparison, Opening Day against the Rockies drew 49,000 fans.

Overall, the Diamondbacks rank 19th in attendance this season. While this position may seem modest, the team is averaging over 3,000 more fans per game than they did last year, reflecting growing enthusiasm as the team contends for another trip to the postseason.

With two games remaining in the series against the Dodgers, crowds of over 45,000 are expected for each matchup as Arizona aims to even the series and remain in the hunt for the NL West title.
