Scotto reported back on July 19 that “Phoenix Suns executives Gerald Madkins (assistant general manager) and David Sevush (personnel evaluation manager), along with scouts Charles Payne and Darrel Johnson, won’t return to the organization, league sources told @hoopshype.”
Taliaferro has been a scout with the Nets since Dec. 2020 and was previously with the Detroit Pistons as a scout since 2010. Phoenix already brought over Matt Tellem from the Nets front office as an assistant general manager earlier this offseason.
