The Phoenix Suns will be playing four games ahead of tournament play, which begins on Saturday, July 20. This is how Phoenix’s schedule looks:

  • Saturday, July 13 vs. Golden State Warriors at 8 p.m. MST (TV: ESPN2)
  • Tuesday, July 16 vs. Indiana Pacers at 1 p.m. MST (TV: ESPNU)
  • Wednesday, July 17 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder at 5 p.m. MST (TV: NBA TV)
  • Friday, July 19 vs. Milwaukee Bucks at 1 p.m. MST (TV: NBA TV)

ESPN platforms and NBA TV will air all 76 games played in Vegas. Every NBA team will play at least five games, meaning the Suns will automatically participate in a game anywhere from July 20-22. The schedule for the last three days is based on the four teams who advance to the semifinals, which are played on July 21. The winners of these two games will compete in the championship on the night of Monday, July 22.

After this week’s NBA Draft, the Suns already reportedly have five of their summer league roster spots filled. The team drafted Virginia forward Ryan Dunn with the 28th pick and Marquette big man Oso Ighodaro with the 40th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft this week. Phoenix also agreed to a two-way contract with Baylor wing Jalen Bridges and reportedly agreed to Exhibit-10 deals with Northwestern guard Boo Buie and Florida forward Tyrese Samuel.

These five players could potentially be the Summer Suns’ starting lineup:

  • PG: Boo Buie
  • SG: Jalen Bridges
  • SF: Ryan Dunn
  • PF: Tyrese Samuel
  • C: Oso Ighodaro

The stakes will be higher for the Suns’ summer team this year, as if the players turn in good performances, they could earn a spot on the team’s G League team, the Valley Suns, which begins its inaugural season this fall.

We will see what happens on July 13, but Suns’ fans are sure looking forward to seeing their new rookies in action for the first time. Stay tuned for more updates surrounding the team.

Experts have mixed grades on Suns’ 2024 NBA Draft haul
