The excitement over the upcoming 2024-25 seasons for ASU men’s and women’s basketball keeps elevating as their Big 12 conference matchups have been released.

Here are the opponents each team will face in their debut seasons in the Big 12 at home, away and playing certain foes twice:

ASU Men

Home: Iowa State, TCU, Baylor, Houston, UCF

Away: Utah, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Cincinnati, West Virginia

Home and Away (play twice): Arizona, BYU, Colorado, Kansas State, Texas State

ASU Women

Home: Iowa State, Texas Tech, TCU, Baylor, Cincinnati, West Virginia

Away: Kansas State, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma State, Houston, UCF

Home and Away (play twice): Arizona, Utah, BYU

Most notably on the list, both the Sun Devil men and women will face arch-rival Arizona twice this year, continuing to heat up arguably the most intense rivalry in all of college sports. They will also clash against BYU in Tempe and Provo, Utah.

Entering the Big 12 with powerhouses like Arizona, BYU, Kansas, Baylor, Houston and Iowa State, ASU’s men’s team will have a challenging schedule ahead but it will entertaining to watch with key additions to the roster made by coach Bobby Hurley and his staff. Arizona State received commitments from five-star recruits Jayden Quantaince and Joson Sanon as well as multiple four-stars.

As for Arizona State’s women, they will also make the jump to the Big 12 after an 11-20 season overall last year and going 3-15 in the Pac-12. It will be interesting to see how things shape up in the Big 12 given that both Texas and Oklahoma departed from the conference and they were the two best teams in it, both going 14-4.

The full Sun Devil basketball schedules of the dates and times of each conference and non-conference game will be released at a later date. Burn City Sports will keep you informed when they are released.
