The Arizona State Sun Devils lost one of their top 2025 commits in three-star Hamilton (Chandler) cornerback Dajon Hinton to Arizona Sunday.

Hinton ranks No. 70 nationally among cornerbacks and No. 6 overall in Arizona for the 2025 class, per 247Sports. His father, David Hinton, played defensive back at Arizona from 2000-02.
Next season will be his first at Hamilton after he previously played at Saguaro.
With the loss of Hinton, Arizona State’s 2025 recruiting class still ranks No. 18 nationally with 18 total commits and No. 2 in the Big 12 behind only TCU according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.
San Tan Charter wide receiver Uriah Neloms is now the only in-state commit of these 18 for coach Kenny Dillingham and the Sun Devils.
