As the 2024 NFL Draft is just three weeks away, the Arizona Cardinals are still deliberating on who they will select that can strengthen their roster going into next season.

On Tuesday evening, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter revealed another option for Arizona as Alabama offensive tackle JC Latham and the Cardinals had a meeting.

“Alabama offensive tackle JC Latham visited today with the Cardinals,” Schefter said.

Latham played three seasons (2021-23) as a member of the Crimson Tide. In 41 games, the Wisconsin native was slotted at right tackle but could play guard as well on the offensive line.

According to multiple mock drafts, the 21-year-old is projected to be a mid to late first-round pick.

If Arizona does end up choosing Latham, drafting a tackle in the first round will be a recurring theme.

Just last year, Cardinals OT Paris Johnson was the sixth-overall pick, the highest selection the team made in the 2023 draft.

During this offseason, Arizona signed Jonah Williams during free agency and released veteran D.J. Humphries.

Amid reports of the Cardinals considering trading down in the first round, they possess the No. 4 and 27 picks. Arizona has six picks in the first three rounds and 11 in total.
