Just before Opening Day, the Arizona Diamondbacks made a trade, sending RHP Peter Strzelecki to the Cleveland Guardians in exchange for cash considerations.

However, he only made one appearance for Arizona, pitching against the Padres on August 19th, where he tossed 1.1 shutout innings.
During his time with the Brewers in 2023, Strzelecki posted a 4.54 ERA across 36 games.
