Some top of the 9th magic from the Seattle Mariners resulted in a 3-3 tie with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday.

Seattle’s lone run off Nelson came courtesy of a Brock Rodden solo homer in the 5th.
In the bottom of the 6th, the Diamondbacks jumped out to a 3-1 lead. Ketel Marte pitched in with a 406-foot bomb. Then, after drawing a walk and advancing to 3rd on a single, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. stole home with two outs.
However, in the 9th, Seattle started the inning with another solo home run. They went on to tie the game following a throwing error committed by Kevin Newman. These runs in the 9th came off Brandon Hughes.
Next up for the Diamondbacks is a game against the San Francisco Giants on Saturday with first pitch at 1:05 pm.
