Fans Weigh In on Rondale Moore Trade

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Rondale Moore (4) runs along the sideline after a catch against the Seattle Seahawks during the fourth quarter at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Jan. 7, 2024.

While the Cardinals already have their franchise quarterback in Kyler Murray, the backup position has been a consistent struggle for Arizona due to Murray’s history of injuries.

In 2022, the Cardinals cycled through four different starting quarterbacks, and last season saw three changes at the position.

Thus, having Desmond Ridder, who started 13 games with the Falcons in 2023, provides a valuable insurance policy in case Murray faces another injury.

However, not all fans were necessarily supportive of the trade. Rondale Moore has been a Cardinal for all three seasons of his career. Despite a decline in production last year, averaging just 20 yards per game, Moore has demonstrated flashes of potential, particularly given his status as one of the fastest wide receivers in the league.

Here’s a glimpse at what fans from both sides had to say about this latest offseason move:
