In 502 defensive snaps played for the Niners, he totaled 67 tackles, one interception, and two pass deflections. As the season progressed, Oliver spent the majority of his time playing special teams.

He did not appear in a single defensive snap during the postseason. However, the Phoenix native played a significant role in San Francisco’s special teams unit.

Oliver played two seasons for Brophy College Prep’s varsity team from 2013-15 and was dominant on both sides of the ball.

The former second-round pick now finds a new home. The Jets already have an established elite defense and Oliver can help add depth to the unit.

He will likely mix in nickel snaps for Robert Saleh’s defense and continue playing on Special Teams.

Free agency moves are ongoing and Burn City Sports will keep you updated on all moves relating to the Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix alumni.
