In the 1st inning, with Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound for Arizona, the Brewers scored three early runs, highlighted by a Willy Adames two-run home run.

Rodriguez’s outing lasted three innings in total. His final statistics were: 3 IP, 5 hits, 3 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO, marking a continuation of his struggles this spring training with 7 earned runs allowed over 4 innings.

The Diamondbacks did strike back, with a pair of runs in the bottom of the 1st, followed by another run in the 3rd to tie the game at three.

Gabriel Moreno spearheaded the early rally with a double and a home run.

However, after Moreno’s solo homer in the third, the Brewers took control, notching consecutive three-run innings in the fifth and sixth.

Bryce Jarvis, who debuted in the major leagues last season, yielded five earned runs while recording only two outs.

The Diamondbacks’ offense remained quiet until the eighth inning when Andres Chaparro hit a right-center home run.

Next up for Arizona is a game against the Chicago White Sox tomorrow at 1:05 PM.
