In the leadoff spot, Corbin Carroll went 3-3, including a single to start the game, which he came around to score on, propelling the Diamondbacks to an early lead.

Kyle Garlick, who signed to a minor-league deal last week, had a monster game, blasting a two-run home run in the 2nd, followed by a solo homer in the 4th.

Noteworthy contributions also came from Timothy Tawa, who went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer in the ninth inning, and Neyfy Castillo, who achieved a 2-for-2 line, driving in two runs.

Overall, the Diamondbacks amassed 18 hits during the game, with 13 of those coming from players up from the minor leagues.

Their efforts were further bolstered by three defensive errors from the Reds.

After Slade Cecconi had a rough start, including two earned runs allowed on five hits in two innings, the Diamondbacks received some stability from the bullpen.

Combined between five pitchers, D-backs relievers tossed four shutout innings up until the 7th.

Although the Reds managed to score four runs against Listher Losa in the ninth inning, the eight-run gap proved insurmountable for Cincinnati to close.

Next up for the Diamondbacks is a game against the Los Angeles Angels tomorrow at 1:10 PM.
