This will be Beal’s fifth straight game missed with the injury. Gordon first missed Sunday’s 123-113 win against the Lakers. Nurkić played in Sunday’s game after missing the previous game due to a right ankle sprain. Vogel said Nurkić was “good to go” yesterday despite the probable designation.
As for Beal, “he’s close,” Vogel said pregame today.
Yesterday, Vogel said he wanted to see how Beal and Gordon responded to the team’s practice before determining their statuses.
Even though Beal and Gordon are out again, “both of those guys had good weeks,” Vogel added today.
After tonight, the Suns play the Rockets once again on Saturday and then the Oklahoma City Thunder the next day on Sunday.
Jalen Green is available for Houston after originally being questionable with an illness.
Tonight’s game tips off shortly after 7 p.m. MST. The Suns are currently riding an eight-game home win steak.
