The Jusuf Nurkić – Draymond Green saga has not stopped even a few days after the Warriors beat the Suns Saturday.

Green released a Podcast in which he went on an 8-minute rant about “the little guy” (Nurkić) and how he was in the wrong for what transpired between the two during the game. Essentially, Green talked about how he greatly outplayed Nurkić, and that Nurkić should not have said what he said about Green to the media postgame. Nurkić ended the game with six points, six rebounds and four assists. Green had 15 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.

“He’s never been in good shape, it’s hampered him his entire career,” Green said. “Guy outweighs me by 100 pounds and he’s upset … Am I not supposed to hold my ground?”

Green also made some comments about when Kevin Durant said about Green’s original dust-up with Nurkić.

“You go and question somebody’s character in front of the whole word?” Green said. “That’s whack. I think they’re all whack, both of them (Durant and Nurkić).”

Here’s what Durant originally said about Green back on Dec. 14: “That was insane to see … Never seen that before on a basketball court (or) a NBA game … He hasn’t been that way when I was around or coming into the league, so hopefully he gets the help he needs.”

In response to Green’s Podcast, Nurkić then tweeted out: “All good bad boy just don’t stay (too) long on podcast, gonna be late for therapy session.”

Green promoted the Podcast in response to Nurkić: “Tap IN! Spoke in depth about the 300 pound softy that can’t finish games. Enjoy”

Saturday’s game featured a number of incidents between the two big man. It was the first meeting between the two since Green landed a blow to Nurkić’s face that left him ejected and ultimately suspended indefinitely. Green had to do counseling before he was allowed back in the NBA.

After the game, Nurkić had some choice words for Green.

“It’s sad,” Nurkić said. “He didn’t learn anything. Just a matter of time, he’s going to hit somebody else again. Take back everything I said. He don’t deserve a chance.”

Nurkić followed up with what he thought Green was doing.

“Just antics,” Nurkić said. “Trying to hit people, the stuff he shouldn’t do. But I don’t care, at the end of the day he can try to play that way, but (I) don’t worry about that.”

Nurkić had previously said after the original incident when Green struck him in the face: “What’s going on with him, I don’t know. Personally, I feel like that brother needs help. I’m glad he didn’t try to choke me.”

In response to the in-game incidents and Nurkić’s postgame comments, Green called Nurkić a “nothing defender” and a “dummy.” He added that “quiet guys don’t win.”

Now, Green has added even more to his comments on Nurkić with this Podcast.

These two teams don’t meet again for the rest of the regular season. We will see if they end up squaring off in the playoffs.
